Marinada, Sitges

43 sheltered housing for rent in Sitges

Presentation of the project

The Marinada development is located in the municipality of Sitges; in the streets Mestre Manuel Torrens, 15 and Abadessa Mª Dalmau. This area of new urban development in the municipality is located between the urbanizations of La Plana, Santa Bàrbara and Vallpineda.

Marinada is 3 ground floor buildings plus three floors and also has a communal area. These are 43 2 and 3 bedroom homes and all of them with terraces that have surfaces from 12 to 100 m². In fact, in the case of the ground floors they have courtyards of up to 180 m².

All floors have parking and storage.

Marinada enjoys energy rating A, both for C02 emissions and for energy expenditure; thanks to the energy saving systems it has that reduce the energy needs of homes.

The promotion has, among others, community heat pumps with aerothermal for the production of domestic hot water and air conditioning (hot and cold air) that allow high energy efficiency and a reduction in CO2 emissions. In addition, heat pumps are also powered by photovoltaic solar panels.

Second, thermal expenditure has also been minimized by optimizing distributions in terms of building volume. In other words, an attempt has been made to reduce the passage areas, the houses have been designed with more square shapes and the façade has been used to the maximum. Also, as a thermal control system, latticework has been installed on the balconies.

Marinada also has high quality thermal insulation, cross ventilation in homes and a rainwater harvesting system for irrigation.

Marinada is a project promoted by the SALAS Foundation in collaboration with Sitges City Council. The Nou Lloc Foundation will later manage the rental of the homes.
